Henning Piezunka is an Assistant Professor of Entrepreneurship at INSEAD. He is an award-winning researcher and teacher. He obtained a Diplom Kaufmann from the University of Mannheim (Germany), a Master of Science from the London School of Economics (UK), and a PhD from Stanford University (US). Henning is an accomplished researcher in the areas of crowdsourcing and competition, and publishing his work in top academic journals (e.g., PNAS, Academy of Management Journal).

Sarah Otner is part of the Strategy & Organizational Behavior Group in the Department of Management here at Imperial College Business School. She won a prestigious grant that pauses her teaching and service for three years in order to allow her to focus on conducting world-class research. Sarah’s research focuses on social evaluations – especially status and expertise – which she studies in the context of awards and competitions. Appropriate for a researcher based in a leading STEMM university such as Imperial College London, her primary research context is the Nobel Prize in Physics. Sarah’s next research project will focus on a variety of major prizes (such as the MacArthur Genius fellowship and the Breakthrough Prize) in order to examine whether and how prestige can be shared. Sarah holds an A.B. in experimental social psychology from Harvard University; an MSc. in organizational & social psychology and a Ph.D. in management (organizational behavior) from the London School of Economics (LSE).
