The TMT Podcast #10: Scaling-up plant-based deliciousness with Sow Foods

Dan & Satya studied together at Imperial College Business School and teamed up to found Sow Foods in 2021. Both of them are plant-based and faced similar issues in finding healthy plant-based protein sources. Their aim is to provide a protein-rich product that is genuinely good for consumers. Previously, they raised £120,000 from TechStars. They are also the Creative & Consumer Track Winner of Venture Catalyst Challenge and were awarded £10,000 at the track heats. Consequently, they are well-versed in pitching skills & how to raise seed funding. 

 

Without spending any budget for marketing, Sow Foods keeps acquiring high-quality customers. It has been on a rapid upwards trajectory. In this episode, Dan shared their exciting yet tough journey and discussed how startup founders can tap into this plant-based trend while creating good food experiences.
